Since John Fluevog started up his namesake brand in the 1970s, his eclectic designs, inspired by heritage, art, pop culture, film, and a history of opulent style quirks, have remained as such. A side-hustling psychic, the mysticism and enchantment with what is the fantastical side of life is expressed in every shoe designed by John. As stated by New York Times, "Fluevogs look historical, like a Baroque-Rococo-Victorian-’20s-mod-grunge shoe museum exhibit gone slightly amok." This eccentricity translates into the brand's limited release of shoe models every year, many of which will forever be regarded as anomalies within the realm of footwear due to the bizarreness in style and cult following. This July, Ciclo has sourced a discontinued pair of Fluevog "Wearables Arigato 09" heels in taupe and yellow which, thanks to their colorway and unique style, perfectly fit into our recurring summer-themed drops this season.
